¹ If a live birth is not achieved within the cost that Sunfish's software predicted for your plan, eligible patients may receive a partial refund of up to $15,000 or a discount to continue treatment. As part of the Sunfish IVF Success Program, Sunfish provides a Custom Financial Plan using Sunfish's proprietary software that calculates the expected financial costs for each family to achieve a Live Birth based on a range of factors. If you fail to achieve a Live Birth within your custom financial plan budget and there are unexpected financial costs that were not accurately predicted by the Financial Planning Tool, our software Warranty may entitle you to receive a partial refund of your treatment package costs. Additional costs may be incurred outside of the Treatment Package Costs. See our Sunfish IVF Success Program Agreement for conditions and details.
All interested participants in the Sunfish IVF Success Program must complete a required physical evaluation by an eligible IVF Clinic. Our software is limited to certain data and therefore the Sunfish IVF Success Program and Financial Planning Tool is only available to qualified applicants. We are not a medical provider.
† If predicted number of eggs are not retrieved under Sunfish's software prediction, you are entitled to receive a free second cycle.
Everleap Fertility recommends the Sunfish IVF Success Program for any patients who are seeking extra protection, support, and an all-inclusive package before they start their journey. We're excited to offer this option to our patients!

Everleap Fertility
What IVF costs in Delaware, and what it costs with Sunfish
Most clinics quote a base cycle price, then bill medications, genetic testing, storage and each embryo transfer on top. Delaware's mandate covers up to six egg retrievals for the plans it reaches, but self-funded plans and employers under 50 people are exempt, and Pennsylvania has no mandate at all. Before you start, review these questions to ask your insurance company.
The Sunfish IVF Success Program brings one fixed price to your treatment plan at Everleap Fertility, with all embryo transfers included for one year, a guaranteed lowest-price match on medications, and a guaranteed refund of up to $15,000 for eligible members if you are unsuccessful.¹
Why Sunfish partners with Everleap Fertility

Everleap Fertility has cared for families since 1986, with a full-service IVF center in Newark, Delaware, and monitoring centers in Milford, Delaware and Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. Our partnership gives their patients one fixed price for IVF, whichever state's rules their plan falls under.
Here's what that looks like for you. You make one payment to Sunfish for your IVF Success Program package. Your treatment happens at Everleap Fertility with the same doctors and care team you already chose. Sunfish handles the billing, coordinates with your office, and pairs you with a Planning Partner for everything financial and logistical.
Sunfish pregnancy rates are 73% higher than the national average.

Alongside that, Sunfish helps organize your experience: scheduling, next steps and communication with your clinic. Your Planning Partner stays with you through your whole treatment.
Yes. Your medical care stays entirely with the physicians and clinical team at Everleap Fertility.
Sunfish works alongside them, supporting the financial structure, planning and logistics around your treatment. Clinical decisions stay between you and your doctor.
Use both, in the right order. If Delaware's mandate reaches your plan, that coverage comes first. Your Planning Partner builds the program around what's left, and nothing gets paid for twice. Sunfish checks your coverage for you before you commit to anything.
Sunfish offers the Egg Freezing Success Program, which includes one fixed price for your cycle, financial protection with a second cycle at no extra cost if your retrieval results fall short of expectations,† medication savings and storage support, personalized planning, and guidance from a dedicated Planning Partner. Ask your Planning Partner to confirm availability at Everleap Fertility. Terms and conditions apply.
IVF in Delaware FAQs
Everleap Fertility quotes your IVF pricing at your consultation, and medications, genetic testing and additional transfers are usually priced on top. The Sunfish IVF Success Program replaces that open-ended cost with one fixed price that includes all embryo transfers for one year, plus a guaranteed lowest-price match on medications from Sunfish partner pharmacy.
For many people, yes, and generously. Delaware's law requires covered plans to pay for up to six completed egg retrievals in your lifetime with no cap on embryo transfers, plus fertility medications, and bars insurers from applying worse cost sharing than they do to other care. Sunfish checks your coverage for you, and your Planning Partner confirms whether your specific plan is one of the covered ones.
Three common reasons. Your employer has fewer than 50 employees. Your employer self-funds its health plan, meaning it pays claims itself and uses an insurer only to administer them, which puts it outside state law entirely. Or your plan is written in another state. Ask HR whether your plan is self-funded or fully insured, and which state it's issued in.
Not by a state mandate. Pennsylvania has no law requiring insurers to cover IVF. A Pennsylvania plan covers it only if your employer chose to buy that benefit. New Jersey requires four completed egg retrievals from employers with more than 50 employees, and Maryland allows insurers to limit coverage to three IVF attempts per live birth with a $100,000 lifetime cap. Your coverage follows your plan, not the clinic's address.
Yes. Delaware's law covers standard fertility preservation, including egg, sperm, ovarian and testicular tissue freezing and storage, when a medically necessary treatment may cause infertility. The same exemptions apply. Self-funded plans and employers with fewer than 50 people aren't reached.
Yes. Egg retrievals are covered before age 45 and embryo transfers before age 50. If you're outside those limits, your Planning Partner builds your financial plan around self-pay treatment instead.
